Amanda Cripwell has enjoyed the benefits of Pilates for fifteen years and qualified as a BASI Pilates Mat instructor in February 2019. She attended the following BASI Workshops in 2020: Pilates for the Mature Client, Introduction to Scoliosis, Optimising Shoulder Mechanics, Pilates for Osteoporosis, Find and Fix Movement Faults and Pilates for Children. Some of the benefits of introducing regular Pilates sessions into your weekly exercise routine include: improved flexibility, increased core strength, improved balance and better posture. Pilates can also help if you suffer from lumbar spine stiffness. Amanda lives near Newbury and is married with three grown up children. When not teaching Pilates from home she enjoys sport, cooking, gardening, art, ballet and walking the dog.

I usually incorporate six blocks of exercises in each Pilates class and adapt the repertoire according to the experience of the class members.
